Like any organization, schools develop their own culture. This feeling, that permeates a campus from the moment the door in unlocked until the last staff member goes home, is the result of many factors including the relationships, beliefs, and attitudes of those who are actively engaged in day-to-day operations. Each of these populations, including students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators, should strive to create a Student and Staff Culture where students feel welcome and safe and staff feels valued and respected.
